@djcuse Agreed, I’m trying to figure out who the genius was that thought putting a lounge tent on the west concourse was a good idea. Calamity awaits when 45K are in there if they leave it as is.

Tonight was 26k… the opener will have 45k… it’s not great AT ALL! You can forget about getting any type of concessions at halftime as well

@djcuse I was in the south stand for last week & I didn’t see any additional washroom facilities. Surely to God the are not expecting all the additional people in metal seats to use the same washrooms at field level?

@djcuse 1000% Agreed, I ducked out just before half time to the john on the westside from the Voyageurs end zone section. It was an absolute calamity. What genius thought putting the “Coinbase” lounge tent completely across, forcing people through doors wide enough for only 2-3 people.

You can pretty much explain the entire legacy media response to Poilievre’s Joe Rogan appearance as a mix of envy and panic It's the same reasons they want to see X banned in Canada

The more jobs Canada loses the higher the food bank usage in Canada becomes and the more the Liberals straight up lie to our faces the more popular Mark Carney gets what will history call this psychological phenomenon?

Was there ever any doubt? Why is it so hard for otherwise bright people to clue in that taxing the supply chain, on the dubious claim that it can change the weather, doesn’t harm affordability? Elbowzos should pay more for their food & leave the rest of us alone
The Food Professor@FoodProfessor

If Canada sees 800–1,200 long-haul food truck trips a day, a $110/tonne carbon tax means roughly $34M to $52M a year in carbon-tax costs on diesel alone. And that doesn’t include higher fuel prices themselves, clean fuel costs, refrigeration, or backhauls.

As far as I understand, Canada Soccer is in a MUCH better position now 🇨🇦⚽️ Their agreement with CSME & hopefully soon Player’s Association will mean their goals are way more aligned & will therefore incentivize growth on all fronts together There’s an actual base to build upon
Joshua Kloke@joshuakloke

BREAKING: Canada Soccer and CSME (Formerly CSB) have finally come to a new, landmark agreement. It’s a financial game-changer for #CANMNT ahead of the World Cup. The old deal is ripped up. Contentious relations are over. Details at @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/70437…

Yes, the valued customer pitch made me laugh. I wasn't valued enough to offer discounts to when I was with them, only when I was out the door.

I just got a call from Rogers. I canceled my shaw satellite direct account effective February 11. All of a sudden I qualify for all kinds of discounts. I would like to know why these companies don't offer discounts to their customers while they still have them because, I'm gone.

Apparently, Canada is in China promoting a goal of net zero 🤦🏼 Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Tim Hodgson: "Let me be clear, we are here (in China) because we share a goal to getting to net zero..." China has over 1,100 and generating over half of the world's electricity. They will do anything to generate more electricity this is the race and not net zero.

Natural Resources Minister Tim Hodgson says he is in China because Canada and China "share a goal on getting to net zero." "We believe we have lots of common interest with respect to how we use clean energy to get there." China is the world's largest emitter and, in 2024, set a 10-year record for coal plant production.

The federal government is hiking payroll taxes again. A worker making $85,000 or more will pay $5,700 in payroll taxes this year. That's a $262 payroll tax hike. Their employer will also pay $6,200 in payroll taxes. Canadians are way overtaxed.
