These people don't give a shit about Conservatives just their Careers. If these people are all so unhappy they should just create a party filled with strategists and consultants and call it "The Careerist Party of Canada" and run against Pierre. Let's see who wins. 🙃

Hey Elbowzos - thought your disdain of American involvement in out country’s governance was something tkt expextected from Conservatives. And this on the heels of th Carney cave on the Gordie Howe Bridge You’re an awfully tolerant lot when it comes to deception #AnklesUp

PM @MarkJCarney just handed day-to-day control of his office to an American political operative who worked for Hillary Clinton and Michael Bloomberg. Her title didn't exist until this week, and even the Globe and Mail can't fully explain how she got here. 🧵👇 (1/6)

Dan McTeague "We are seeing the effect of a shortage, of scarcity, of an energy crunch. " "The world is quickly running out of oil., available oil to meet demands." The price of the pumps in the greater Toronto area is expected to rise by about 8 cents per litre overnight and prices are expected to continue to rise later this week. @GasPriceWizard

Never forget, Trudeau actually tried to convince people that mass immigration was going to take pressure off of our systems in Canada. The Liberals destroyed our Country, now they want to be thanked for pretending to fix it. It’s madness.

"From 1981 to 2024, there were numerous discrepancies between equalization payments and GDP per person. These are not minor or one-off quirks. In 15 of the 44 years during this period, at least one province received equalization payments despite having a higher GDP per person than one or more nonreceiving provinces. Furthermore, in all but three of the 44 years of analysis, at least one province received larger equalization payments per person than another receiving province that had a lower GDP per person. Some of the discrepancies observed between equalization payments and provinces’ GDP per person persisted over many years, and this includes recent years, demonstrating that there are ongoing, structural issues with the equalization formula" — Tegan Hill and Joel Emes @FraserInstitute

LOL. Yesterday Liaison's poll showed the Liberal lead down to 6 points. Today, Nik Nanos, who the Liberal's appointed to the Order of Canada recently to the rescue! Liberals up 12.

Two 🔑factors have kept oil from exploding higher: SPRs and a Chinese buying strike. With the US SPR ~ 1 month away from minimum levels, we watch for an inevitable return of Chinese buying. Extreme tightness already seen in refined products...crude oil is next with Strait CLOSED.

New research claims human emissions are not driving atmospheric CO2. A paper by Dai Ato ran multiple linear regressions for 1959 to 2022, testing two predictors of the annual CO2 increase: sea surface temperature and human emissions. The result was clear: when the oceans warmed, CO2 levels rose almost exactly in step - about two to three parts per million for every one degree Celsius of warming. Adding human emissions to the model didn't change the outcome. Using only ocean temperature, the model reproduced global CO2 levels with near-perfect accuracy - a correlation of 0.995 and an error of just one to two ppm by 2022. The main factor governing the annual increase in atmospheric CO2 concentration is sea surface temperature rather than human emissions. Earlier studies have shown the same pattern. Temperature changes first, CO2 follows. If Ato is correct, cutting human emissions won't lower atmospheric CO2 because it's the oceans that set the pace.

(Public) The Oil Market Is In The Twilight Zone Words cannot describe the price action I'm seeing in oil. Even with today's +9% rally, it is still incomprehensible. hfir.com/p/public-the-o…

Right then … as Ross Clark points out, the claim that 2,700 people were killed by the heat is bollocks. (Technical term) It was presented as an actual death toll. It wasn’t. It was a modelling exercise and er.… not actual mortality UKHSA found NO excess mortality during the May heatwave. And in the 2 published ONS weeks covering most of June’s heatwave, death registrations were actually 918 BELOW expected. But the hysterical headlines pushed the narrative as if it was fact. As always, question everything.
