Today is World Autism Awareness Day. And I don’t want sympathy. I don’t want to be seen as broken. I love being an autistic man. I love the way my mind works the depth, the focus, the honesty, the way I see things others might miss.

Moving house is stressful for anyone, but as someone with autism, the overwhelm hits differently. The disruption, the planning, the packing even small changes can feel huge. It’s exhausting, but I know I’m doing it for the right reasons.

Hey! On my 78th birthday I’m quite pleased to report that the old “Sha Na Na” TV shows are going to finally be put up on YouTube TV in the near future. They have some great guests, great music & real fun & I hope you’ll enjoy the memories or even take a look for the first time!

My heart is with Charlie Kirk’s family, and with the United States. Politics has become a disease in this country, and it’s deadly. But don’t listen to the pessimists who say there is no cure. There is a cure. It is inside of us. We must find our better angels and walk back from the extremes. If we can’t agree on anything else, we must find agreement that we don’t solve our debates with violence. This is a horrible tragedy. May it also be a moment for everyone to rediscover their humanity.

Baby Alvin was being a little too crazy at his 36 week appointment so he got hooked up to something to track his heartbeat for 10 minutes. But by the time they got it all hooked up he had already calmed down and behaved 🙂💙🙏

Donald Trump has a trifecta. He has the power to pass gun violence prevention legislation. He has the power to save the lives of thousands of children. But I don't think he will, because the NRA owns him. And he's a coward.
