@web3_shadowking This is exactly the trap we’re trying to avoid with Aritelia. No token-first launch. The game has to be worth entering before ownership matters. Web3 should support identity, cosmetics, artifacts, and live island utility, not replace fun with a chart.

Launching a "Web3 game" on Solana has become way too predictable. Launch a Pump fun token. Build a pixel-art farming game or voxel MMO. Gate access behind token holders. Call it a player-driven economy. Let CT do the marketing. Repeat. Somewhere along the way, we stopped asking whether the game was actually fun. Instead, we started measuring success by market cap, trading volume, and how fast the token pumped. That's not gaming. That's financial speculation with a game wrapped around it. The projects that survive won't be the ones that launched the biggest token. They'll be the ones people are still playing long after the chart stops trending.

The render surface script included in the Uranus Tools SDK can be used on regular UI elements to render a top down map on demand. Here rendering some nice game maps 🗺️ The fog effect isn't added separately, it's the actual in game fog! @playcanvas #metaverse #gamedev #webgl #js

@vrhermit Yes! We definitely have plans to do that, @playcanvas makes it easy to add support. We plan to have at least a tour mode that works in VR, if not more game elements.

To further reduce render time, in most quality presets (up to Desktop), we've implemented delay timers per shadows cascade: - 1st (closer to camera) updates per frame - 2nd at 10FPS - 3rd at 4FPS - 4th at 2FPS #gamedev #indiedev #webgl #html5 @playcanvas

We've optimized how LODs are distributed on each collection and removed some of them at the expense of a slightly higher polycount. All in all we managed a 30% reduction of draw calls in @Aritelia3! Plenty of room for things coming 😇 #gamedev #indiedev #webgl #html5 @playcanvas
