True, especially around extraction and processing latency for huge docs. That’s partly why I’m trying to keep the architecture hybrid: AI for semantic understanding ,while keeping the core workflows deterministic and isolated from AI as much as possible. Still exploring😄

i like the approach of using ai services alongside a traditional backend setup, it's definitely an interesting tradeoff between convenience and performance, in fact, we've seen mixed results with ai-driven document management systems ourselves.

The data modeling part of this system is going to be a tricky one to crack. Groups, permissions, user interfaces, and the relationships between them. Not going after early optimization though, coz the saying goes like: “Early optimization is the root of all evil ” 👀👀
