Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani
We are spending at least $500 million a day to bomb Iran. Imagine how many teachers we could hire, how many public housing units we could build, how many bridges and roads we could fix, if we spent that kind of money on improving life for working people?

New York City’s Mayor just said what most elected officials won’t. “We always seem to have money for war. But not to feed the poor.” Mamdani didn’t stop there. Thousands of civilians killed. Tens of billions spent. And every program that gets called “unrealistic” — housing, healthcare, schools — costs a fraction of what this war has already burned through. He’s right.

🚨LIVE BREAKING: Leader Hakeem Jeffries has just introduced a discharge petition that STRIPS all Ice funding from the DHS funding bill. The bill would FULLY FUND TSA and not provide a single penny to ICE. This is amazing. #FundDHSFreezeICE

Ossoff: "Last night the White House put a video on social media that depicted this war as a video game. When American service members killed in action are returning to the US in flag-draped coffins, and even more Americans have lost limbs or suffered terrible brain injuries or are fighting for their lives, this White House treats war like a game. It's a disgrace. And it speaks to the moral rot of this administration."

Laura Loomer flew to India. Before she left she deleted all of her anti-Indian tweets. Thousands of them. Gone. She thought nobody would notice. An Indian uncle noticed. He read them back to her on camera. Every one. Her own words. Her own bigotry. Directed at the people whose country she was visiting as a guest. This is the woman who has the personal cell phone number of the President of the United States. This is the woman who shaped immigration policy from Mar-a-Lago. She deleted the evidence before crossing the border. The internet is forever. The uncle is a hero.

McGowan: You're saying 46 Americans died, so we should attack this country. Here at home, 68,000 Americans die a year because they don't have health insurance. So, if we're going to spend billions of dollars on something, would it not make more sense to save American lives, to spend it here on health care than bombing another country.

You occasionally get a moment that symbolizes everything wrong with this country. In this case it's a U.S. Marine veteran screaming out that no one wants to fight for Israel and a U.S. Senator breaking his arm. A perfect encapsulation of US foreign policy.

Talarico: I am tired of being pitted against my neighbor. I'm tired of being told to hate my neighbor. It's been more than ten years of this kind of politics. Politics as bloodsport, politics as trolling and owning politics as total war. It tears families apart. It ends friendships, and it leaves us all feeling terrible all the time.  We cannot defeat the politics of division with more division. We can't win their game. We have to change the game. This campaign is rooted in a fierce love for this state, for this country, and most importantly, for all of our neighbors.

Today, U.S. Senator Tim Sheehy dragged a Marine veteran out of a room while he was peacefully protesting the war against Iran, possibly breaking his arm. RETWEET if you think Sheehy is a disgrace!

🚨🇦🇪🇺🇸 Prominent UAE billionaire Khalaf Ahmad Al Habtoor just published an open letter to Trump. It's brutal. "Who gave you the authority to drag our region into a war with Iran? Who gave you permission to turn our region into a battlefield?" Al Habtoor's a major figure: billionaire, former diplomat, outspoken political voice in the Gulf. When he talks, UAE leadership's listening. His questions: * Was this your decision or Netanyahu's pressure? * Did you calculate collateral damage before firing? * You placed GCC countries at the heart of danger they didn't choose * Your "Board of Peace" initiatives were funded by Gulf states. Now we're getting attacked. Where did that money go? * You promised no wars. You've conducted operations in 7 countries: Somalia, Iraq, Yemen, Nigeria, Syria, Iran, Venezuela * 658 airstrikes in your first year back = Biden's entire term (which you criticized) * War costs $40-65 billion for operations, possibly $210 billion total * Your approval rating's down 9% in 400 days * Americans were promised peace. They're getting war funded by their taxes The sharpest line: "Before the ink has dried on your Board of Peace initiative, we find ourselves facing military escalation that endangers the entire region. So where did those initiatives go?" Al Habtoor's not some random critic. He's establishment. Connected. When UAE elites start publicly questioning Trump's decision-making, that's America's closest Arab allies saying "we didn't sign up for this." The letter ends: "True leadership is not measured by war decisions, but by wisdom, respect for others, and pushing toward achieving peace." @KhalafAlHabtoor

🚨 Rep. Ansari just said it out loud in Congress: The DOJ was caught red handed withholding FBI witness interviews of a woman who accused Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her as a minor. Not alleged. Not rumored. Caught. Red handed. And Pam Bondi — who is supposed to enforce the Epstein Files Transparency Act — is nowhere to be found. This is why he started a war. Not for Iran. Not for Israel. Not for America. To make sure you never hear what Rep. Ansari just said on the floor of Congress.

It’s important that you understand what happened last night. Last night, Stephen Colbert interviewed Democratic Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, a candidate who, by all accounts, is on track in the polls to flip Texas blue. In response, Trump’s FCC reportedly threatened CBS if the interview aired. CBS caved and pulled the segment, citing “financial reasons.” In modern American history, no president has been more hostile to free speech than Donald Trump. But censorship always backfires. Here’s the full segment Trump didn’t want you to see.
