@jesseleite85 I like how the paper calendar is just there to be mocked while you program a REAL calendar

@jackmcdade Yuppp... And I even JUST bought an office chair, but since using this one, my back pain has mostly went away.

This is such a killer idea - I remember one year where I felt like I wasted an opportunity to do something special with a team - this is the rallying cry we needed.

@ArleyM So many fun little things to spot… the Windows box, the way Gmail looks (pre-2011?), the MacBook model (2008-2011 Unibody?), the Linksys router… oh and the King James Reference Bible (after 1611 😜)

@schutzsmith @AndrewKepson @thekevingeary LiveCanvas ships with a sass compiler (for Bootstrap), and the customizer has a setting to ignore BS. The trick would be doing the PostCSS
English

@AndrewKepson @thekevingeary I’ve been trying to find a good way to use tailwind with WordPress but it looks like a lot of projects haven’t been maintained. Do you have a starter theme you work with now?
English

As a builder of custom WP blocks who uses Tailwind, the way the rich text block applies styles never sat right with me.
I was inspired by @thekevingeary approach with Etch to replace core blocks with custom blocks, and today I prototyped a custom Paragraph block that applies Tailwind classes instead. I'm still using the core Rich Text Editor, but overriding as needed. I decided to update the toolbar icons while I was in there.
English

@mattmedeiros LiveCanvas - it lets me build pages / blocks with HTML. Removes the need for most plugins, makes it possible to build any language, add ARIA, schema etc.

@carsoncantcode OBS: free, and a bajillion features. Fun fact, if you record in mkv the file will work even if something cuts off the recording. I keep a bash text expansion to convert any mkv to mp4 for easier editing and sharing.

@DuaneStorey @jeffr0 I started that playlist. Skimming through this gives a good impression of the workflow for devs or non-nerd content editor people.

@DuaneStorey @jeffr0 I am making videos for a dev colleague this week, AMA and I will try to demo it. Last week I made one for a non-technical client; they wanted to see the editing experience was on par with WP dashboard, I think it's cleaner: youtube.com/watch?v=UsWZZz…

@jeffr0 @DuaneStorey A year ago I made a shortlist of around 6, and have since committed to Statamic. It's built on Laravel which opens options. I looked into the business models of these things not wanting to get burned by the VC pressure again. Statamic isn't free, but they don't owe anybody.
English

@DuaneStorey Pivoting to what though? Webflow? Drupal? Joomla? Where would you go?
English

@DuaneStorey Agreed. At this point it doesn't matter if MM is the good guy or bad guy, he's proven himself to be impulsive, quick-tempered, unpredictable, unprofessional, and has carefully curated an echo chamber of people who agree with him. It's been frustrating.
English

@levisan Have you ever listened to really old Kris Kristopherson Sunday Morning, Or Johnny Cash's Live at Folsom prison? I think the old stuff is interesting, close to indie folk.
English

@DuaneStorey Best case scenario on first line "pineapple truly is a relevant and acceptable option on pizza, if you really stop to think about it."
English

Has anyone else read all these redactions in the updated filings by WPE against WordPress and Automattic? Some of them, if you read between the lines, seem pretty scary.
I hope some of these are unsealed (my understanding is the public can even request this - given how important WordPress is globally, I think the public interest may outweigh any corporate interests) at some point, as I worry internally these show contempt for the entire WordPress ecosystem and the community itself by the main actors within the community.
