Been feeling super not creative for a while.
I think the combo of social media feeling like a chore (at best) or a war zone (at worst) combined with the Rise of AI drained my mana pretty hard.
Ironically — started watching my own how-to-tap-into-your-unique-creativity design video series and am feeling a bit more like myself again. Hope this keeps up. Might even tweet a bit again.

We're rolling out a small tweak to boost visibility of your posts to your mutuals (people who you follow back). We noticed this data was missing from the algo and it made your friends appear less in your replies. This resulted in the reply section feeling more like a battleground with people you don't recognize. This should also help clusters form around interests more easily, which many people have asked for.

@jackmcdade True. I don’t disagree. We know the time will come (if the market supply allows) where the bullet will need to be bit and make a move. We see it now that this is not an option. But we’ve also had unexpected life changes where we were SO grateful we didn’t have a huge mortgage—

Fun tidbit.
We just got a second quote for a modest 600sqft addition (so we could bust down our kitchen into what is our current bedroom) & it costs 160% more for what we payed for our entire house in 2019. For 60% less sq footage.
We can’t build.
& we’ve outgrown our house.
