She forced pacifist monks to act as jailers, prioritizing global security over her own culture's sanctity. This eventually led to her banishment from the Northern Air Temple. While Yangchen was a Saint to the world, she understood that a world without war required a leader willing to get their hands dirty, proving that the greatest act of service is being the monster so no one else has to be.
