@JohnSimpsonNews The BBC is done for. It’s corrupt. Biased. And extortion by forcing us to pay for something we don’t use. If anything it should be optional. Subscribe like any other channel or adverts. Meanwhile all you lot that are brainwashed and have lovely salaries won’t want to see it go.

Let’s not forget why the BBC has to cut back excellent programming. 94% of UK adults use BBC services each month, including tv, radio, iPlayer, and Online.  And only 80% pay the licence fee. Is this a kind of shoplifting? Airlifting?

Caller to LBC calmly lays out that millions must go. Iain Dale says it can't be done. Yes it can Iain. And it will, it must even. Millions MUST go.

It’s just been a total mess for years @MichelleDewbs and as with so many other cases, it is hidden until the media pick them up! But the survivors suffer unimaginable trauma for years and years just fighting and being pushed from pillar to post! Enrages me!! 😡😡 And despite what is said, there is absolutely no independent scrutiny or accountability and that must change!

On 16/4/26 I shared a previous story about the Hull case written by the same journalist @JonAustinjourn1 way back in 2019. That these young women are STILL having to fight the system all these years later is truly horrific, but I think having people alongside them like @JonAustinjourn1 who don’t give up, who support them and are fighting their corner to ensure the story is kept alive is helping them. We @TMOFCharity have also been supporting these girls since 2021 and they are a total inspiration to still have the strength and courage to fight on, but this battle against the authorities has taken a huge toll on their lives. It was a pleasure to see them at our ball in Manchester two weeks ago standing up proudly despite the challenges. They were also part of the group of 2 dozen survivors we supported in a meeting we hosted with @annelongfield and her team in Manchester in February, and we are committed to helping them in any way we can to see justice delivered if that’s what they want. A case like this shows just how broken our system is. The shadow that hangs over their lives is a daily trauma, which has been hanging over their lives in all honesty for many more years than the horrific sexual abuse they suffered as children. Had they been protected as children as was their right, and the authorities acted then, their lives would have been so very different. It shouldn’t be this way. It shouldn’t take this long. Children, victims and survivors shouldn’t be treated like this. I have the greatest respect for these beautiful girls, their courage, their determination, their ‘staying power’, but the toll this constant fight has taken on their mental health and their lives should never be underestimated - and they are just a few of the many thousands of victims of all kinds of sexual violence that have to travel this path in search of justice and closure. Our system is broken. Full stop!

I’ll always champion peaceful protest. But the Unite the Kingdom march organisers are peddling hatred and division. We’ve already blocked visas for far-right agitators who want to come here to spew their extremist views. They don't speak for the decent, fair, respectful Britain I know.
