I think a good nation and all it's citizens should respect its people, whether they support their political party or not. It is not mandatory to be a political person to live a professional or family life in full dignity #Indian #citizen

@BibhuRath A lot of these solutions don't show depth in knowledge and experience. So ultimately there is repeated crisis

@svembu @cvkrishnan Agree to great extent, India doesn't understand many beautiful concepts, design and innovation. Everything gets reduced

Let's take the examples of Homi Bhabha or Vikram Sarabhai or Abdul Kalam. They were clearly not doing it for money. Japan has had a tradition of great engineers/scientists like this. Likewise in America of old. The greatest inventions very often came from people who did not worry about making the most money. It is the recent Finance-dominated era that has reduced every motive to money. We confused Finance with "capitalism", and capitalism is really about building capital in the broadest sense of that word, which includes physical infrastructure as well as capabilities in people, as well as building trusted commerical relationships (that includes things like branding). I will say this with confidence; obsessing about money is not even the best way to make money!

Do it for passion, don’t do it for money is not a great way to attract someone to deep tech startups.

@hvgoenka Shuffling ideas on pros and cons of these concepts, sometimes it is highly effective to be in extreme, simply for the high end results it brings #passion

Life is like a sitar- strings tuned neither too tight nor too loose. Buddha called it the middle path. Aristotle called it the Golden Mean. Our Upanishads say “Neti Neti”. Across time and cultures, the wisdom echoes the same: balance over extremes. In most things in life, the answer is simple- nothing in excess.

My mamaji is on ventilator. He had all his life’s savings within PSU bank in FDs. All his accounts have been sealed as due to being bed ridden he could not do re-KYC in person. His kids asked bank to take humane view. Bank said if he cannot come in person, accounts will not open. FDs in PSU banks can be useless in time of need due to KYC regulations. @narendramodi @RBI this KYC mess is draconian. Please help in this time of need

The Union Ministry of Education’s latest data puts Odisha’s literacy rate at 79%. This means that for every 100 people in Odisha, 21 are still illiterate. Why is Odisha still struggling to read and write? Despite years of development claims, the latest data has revealed a dark reality for our State. What is stopping Odisha from becoming a fully literate State?

Many of u have asked me about my studio… so friends, here’s a little glimpse into my painting room 🎨
There are many more paintings stacked away in the corners too. U may call this place my workshop ; not very organized 😁 but full of colours, ideas, and endless creativity.
So today, I’m sharing a small portion of it with you all! 🌿🖌️ #art #artist

Indian cuisine conversations often revolve around Punjabi, South Indian or Bengali food. Odiya cuisine deserves a much bigger place on that table. What struck me most was its restraint. No overload of cream, butter or chillies. Just balance, mustard, fermentation, texture and freshness. Dahi Bara Aloo Dum (popular street food), Drumstick-Brinjal Besara, Chhena Tarkari, Chakuli Pitha (like dosa) Aloo Patra Besara… all made at home.
