AP has just skipped straight to the logical endpoint of gun control- complete and total gun bans, right down to 1700s muskets, because "1,000 feet per second" and "what it can do to the human body" are scary.

A musket from 1776 can fire a lead ball at a velocity of around 1,000 feet per second. Imagine what that can do to a human body. Yet under federal and most state laws, it’s exempt from gun regulations. Many antique or replica guns aren’t considered firearms and even convicted felons can own them.

So many things are wrong with Mass's policies on guns and crime control, and what happened today in Cambridge is the inevitable conclusion of those flaws. I'm sure that the governor will ignore this and call for a tightening on the least permissive gun laws anyway.

Bro we are so cooked unless we win. Holy cripes. This is out of Green Bay Wisconsin and I have to be honest the The Brown County Sheriff needs to fire that Sheriff and dispatcher. The Sheriff cited the Victim with a more severe punishment while letting a hit and run driver with no insurance off with a slap on the wrist. The Sheriff called the victim racist for saying "He was black and looked like he was going to run" as justification why he followed the guy. Notice how the cop is friendly and chill with a criminal who fled from the scene of an accident and how he treats the victim. I'm disgusted.

This morning, the NYPD arrested Gusmane Coulibaly, 27 years old, for assaulting our officers earlier this week in Washington Square Park. Mr. Coulibaly was previously arrested less than three weeks ago for an attempted robbery in the transit system.
