The amount of negative comments following #Arsenal vs Man City makes me think there were a lot of people that either (a) didn’t watch the game and/or (b) will just hate on Arsenal regardless. If we play like we did today, but can just tighten up some of the finishing then we have a serious chance to win at least one trophy this season. People really need some perspective. That was our best performance in weeks and we lost to a piece of luck and a ball falling to the best striker in the world.

Some #Arsenal fans are so negative it’s insane 😂 I think about what we’ve watched for the last couple of weeks compared to this afternoon so far against City and there is no comparison we have been so much better. And yet I still see a host of negatives from people immediately at half time. Let’s get some perspective here!

Arsenal fans will destroy what’s left of their season unless they stop being so negative. Liverpool Utd Chelsea & especially Spurs - would all swap places. Trophies aren’t easy to win. They’re won over a season not 6 games. You’re killing your team.

Most of the season I’ve felt the need for calm & that’s mostly been the vibe I’ve had from the manager & players - until this week. Arteta seemed angry & somewhat defiant in Tuesday’s press conference. Rice’s demeanour in his post-match interview tonight was different too. Has something changed in their attitudes or is it me? The performances need to improve but at a point we’re seemingly running on fumes, I wonder if all the negativity towards us can be turned into some sort of fuel. That alone won’t be enough to win a major trophy but can it reignite our challenge on both fronts? Maybe I’m just being optimistic 😂🤷🏻‍♂️
