The issue with ‘of all time’ debates like this is they’re almost always talking to a room of people that have zero knowledge of football pre 2000.
I’d like to see debates like this between genuine football historians.

Arsenal should move for Mateus Fernandes before the price gets silly. His pressing, ball carrying and midfield flexibility fit Arteta perfectly. This feels like the kind of smart signing top clubs make early.

@billycarpy A lot of guys have forgotten how good he really is because of injury/bad season. I feel a lot of fans are doing the same mistake with Zubi where a bad phase is making them believe he is a bad player but he is still adapting to the league and played a lot more than he should

Years of Ødegaard getting the ball into the box more than anyone in Europe, and many assuming it was because of his role or positioning or whatever. Really, it's just hard to work the ball into a packed 10-man box, and he's great at it.
