Do I let intrusive thoughts win? (This is for July)

One of the biggest and most silent destructions of wealth for Indians is happening through currency devaluation. Every year the Indian Rupee loses value against many foreign currencies, and most people don’t even realise how much it impacts their purchasing power globally. Take Malaysia for example. Last year 1 MYR = ₹19.57. Now 1 MYR = ₹23.44. That’s almost a 20% increase in just one year. This means that for Indians, travelling abroad, studying overseas, or even spending in foreign currencies is becoming more expensive year after year, even if prices in those countries remain the same. Your wealth might be growing in INR terms, but globally your purchasing power could actually be shrinking. Currency depreciation is one of the most underrated wealth destroyers.
