I'm happy to say that Ben 10 Full Power 2 is now Content Complete!
After 3 years, finally all of the maps are constructed, enemies added in, and dialogue written.
There are still things left to do, like battle balancing, items, and visuals, (1/3)

@osu_MeovvCAT Grinding for Joker alone took me almost as long as my first run of Reload... (files 3 and 4 were start and completion of grinding) Was not fun.

Joker in Persona 3 Reload is the worst boss battle in Atlus history, because Reload has so many mechanics that the only way they could make him challenging at all was disabling every single tool the player has and creating instant gameover conditions they don't tell you about

Not all gimmicks are created equal and some are genuine turn-offs. I never like real time elements or QTEs in RPGs.
Persona's 1 More is also extremely delicate and in some cases all gimmicks have to be completely disabled for the game to even function. Look at Persona 4.

A heartfelt word of advice to developers working on RPGs with turn-based combat: Simply having turn-based combat isn't good enough. You need something extra to spice it up or players will find it boring. Some examples: - Timed button presses - Ability to speed up battles - Gaining an extra turn if you hit an enemy's weakness - Chained Echoes' Overdrive system Look at games that have made turn-based combat exciting and fun (Metaphor, Persona, Chained Echoes, Octopath traveler) and find a way to put your own unique spin on it.

The Null Void map has been completed! Acts 0 (Intro), 1 (The Resolute), 2 (Xenon) and 3 (Null Void) are now content complete, and only need visual touch-ups/sprites, and battle programming, which I will do after Act 4 (Finale) is content-complete!
