We had so much fun at today’s @ArtCarParade! Kudos to @WhartonDual’s Art Cart Club and Axolotl Clubs, and teacher sponsors Mr. Zarate and Ms. Pando. @HISDMultiPrgms @HoustonISD #HoustonArtCarParade

Here’s a snapshot of some of the entries in the Art Car Parade. The tradition began April 1988 with a 40-car parade. Now, it has more than 200 entries, is broadcast live and attracts thousands of people along the route.

An amazing turnout for the 36th annual @OrangeShow @ArtCarParade. It’s a uniquely Houston tradition. More than 200 decorated vehicles are part of the route. @houmayor rode on a @SaintArnold Cadillac. It’s great to see so many people lining downtown streets & on Allen Parkway!

Loved going to my first @ArtCarParade and seeing the cars up close at the art car ball. Creativity was on awesome display in @HoustonTX.
