@theiaincameron I have been researching this for years. All cities on earth sit on a sphere. My best guess, aliens planned it

Germany's three largest cities are on a circle, weirdly. (Sent to me privately so I don't know who the original author is.)

I've no idea what Arday did or didn't do, but I'm bemused by the claim he can't have run 30 marathons in 35 days cos that would make him one of the world's top athletes. Didn't Eddie Izzard run 27 marathons in 27 days? Is he one of the world's top athletes?

@NadiaWhittomeMP Spend all the money building a sand castle to stop the tide. I’d rather spend the money on a boat

This week, half of England has been declared officially in drought, with July set to be the driest on record after winter floods, and wildfires are breaking out across the UK. The immense damage to nature, farming and communities is real and happening fast. If this government is to succeed, it must plough ahead with an ambitious green energy transition. It would be a serious mistake to approve new oil and gas licenses.

@GeoffreyLean Did you know the Egyptians faced desertification of Northern Africa over 100 years. They moved to the Nile and formed the first of the great Egyptian ages. Climate change over decades doesn’t have to be man made

The wildfires in Europe remind us that the climate crisis is happening now. It knows no borders and impacts us all. The UK, France and Spain are committed to the Paris Agreement. We will continue working together to build resilience and tackle climate change.

What I remember is all the climate denying trolls in 2018-19 making fun of Greta, Fridays for Future, Extinction Rebellion and all of climate science for saying we had less than 10 years to massively reduce emissions or else. Well. They won the inaction they wanted. Or else.👇
Extreme Temperatures Around The World@extremetemps

HISTORIC RECORD HEAT EVERYWHERE We are gonna live historic days which will be remembered for generations: Thousands of records will be pulverized at the same time in North,South (40C in winter again !) Americas,Asia and Europe. Stay tuned. It will be an absolute insanity.

Do you think people are realising now that climate change doesn’t mean more flip flops and ice cream, but possibly the total breakdown of human civilisation and society #wildfires

BBC news, “ We are using water quicker than nature can replace it!!!????” That’s bollox then. We have plenty of rain in this country!! I suggest it’s greed and piss poor management by the water companies that’s the main cause of this shortage.

September and our first A Level Chemistry lesson was a lecture on why we shouldn't take drugs. There were about 40kg of apples piled up behind the teacher. She then guided us through making cider to learn about fermentation and how to measure alcohol. We all got leathered.
