@mkainerugaba Gen. It would be ideal to consider the use of pavements along low traffic roads; Pavement roads are cheap, requiring simple technology; would create job opportunities to many; they are easier to manage; local firms would get business as suppliers. There is need to look into it.

I shall say one more thing today. The entire budget for roads in Kampala will be under my control (CDF). I will determine who builds and repairs roads.

@Delta Please consider investing in Uganda; there is a great opportunity; you will actually increase your fares and come off cheaper than the existing players. The entire Africa is open for new players.

🇨🇳🌍 While Trump builds military coalitions and bombs the Middle East, China just made its move. Wang Yi announces: zero tariffs on 100% of African imports, effective May 1st. Every single African export enters China duty-free. No conditions. No military bases required. No regime change demanded. The U.S. is spending billions on interceptors, carrier strike groups, and bombs. China is opening the largest consumer market on Earth to an entire continent.

I get secondhand embarrassment every time clips of people meeting President Museveni land on my TL. You’re handed a rare chance to speak to the most powerful office in the country and instead of raising issues that affect millions, you reduce it to personal favors and individual gain That platform isn’t for your shopping list 🫤. It’s for hospitals with no equipment, unemployed health workers, broken systems and communities that actually need policy change. Small minds waste big moments. Shameful.

A special flashback to an unforgettable moment at #MwiriLeague first season finale on July 27th, 2019. Captured in the first photo (frame 1) are two incredible personalities — Mwirians Owek. Robert Wagwa Nsibirwa (2nd Deputy Katikkiro of Buganda, and Minister of Finance (Buganda Kingdom), and Dr. Ibembe Patrick, the former Moba President — sharing the thrill and excitement during the big day. @mwirians @MwiriSACCO @Mwirian1911 @AAbaliwano @BobNsibirwa #MwiriLeague #ThrowbackThursday

Of all the roads affected by the Auto Penalty System, why is it Entebbe? Haven’t heard motorists to other major roads like Jinja, Masaka, Mbarara, Hoima, Gulu etc complain.
