Meet Christian “Cece” Worley, a 27-year-old Black Georgetown second-year law student who refused to be silenced.
While battling severe endometriosis, she sued the North Carolina Department of Public Safety completely pro se , no lawyer, just her own fight.
She demanded they recognize her condition as a disability under the ADA… and she won.
Near six-figure settlement. Department-wide training. A real precedent.
No attorney. No excuses. Pure determination.
This is what breaking barriers looks like. 👏🏾
