NARAKA: BLADEPOINT
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT@NARAKATHEGAME·
Long ago in ancient China, whispers spoke of four women whose grace could mesmerize the world. 🌸🦋 Their presence could still the rivers and make wild geese falter mid-flight. Some shone brighter than the moon, while others out-bloomed the peonies. Now, these legends step out of the murals and into NARAKA. Two will arrive first on NOV 5 PT! #NARAKABLADEPOINT

People who hate or belittle DOA either have no idea how deep and sharp it really is, or they just can't handle its fast, relentless and highly reactive pace. DOA is designed to kill your flowchart, it forces you to stay creative. But they'll never admit that's their real problem.

I was confused for a bit. The video being mentioned was not even VF. It was DOA. Also I think the video that was mentioned was pretty unfair to some degree. You have to really look for the quality type matches to start identifying. I know it's referring to the animations asset of movement to looking stiff, but I do think it's opinionated of it or maybe even subjective. There was a clip of Hayate with that one attack (which looks weird) but that is like one of the very rare few for DOA. I guess it's understandable if someone only plays Tekken and the game they are attuned to. I was very attuned to CvS2 and DOA. There is a lot of movement going on with VF & DOA of positioning and adjusting to the foreground / background that I don't see the stiffness to the movement, moving in VF and DOA feels pretty good. For DOA specifically, things like KBD also does exist in the series (some out there are in tournament matches), but you have to really look for it:

Just from this short clip and clips I see of VF I’m always reminded why I might always be a Tekken one trick pony; because movement in every other FG looks mad fucking stiff. Even improper Kbd and sloppy wavu looks more fluid animation wise than these other 3DFGs.

"Sleepy" Dogs 😅
Wario64@Wario64

Donnie Yen says Sleepy Dogs movie no longer in the works polygon.com/action/506279/… “I spent a lot of time and did a lot of work with these producers, and I even invested some of my own money into obtaining the drafts and some of the rights,” Yen says. “I waited for years. Years. And I really want to do it. I have all these visions in my head, and unfortunately … I don’t know, you know how Hollywood goes, right? I spent many, many years on it. It was an unfortunate thing. Well, onto better things."
