I just left @xai It was not an easy decision. The past three months were an absolute blast - I've been in many trenches in my life and can say this was by far one of the most intense warzones. I love fighting. Especially being in the trenches with my friends, working on problems that will actually advance humanity. But the current environment wasn't serving my growth. And that's a really hard thing to admit - I've always looked up to Elon, and I genuinely believe xAI will win. I still do. One thing I'll say: don't stay somewhere just because of the name. If you're unhappy, and you know you can't grow 100x where you are - it's the right call to leave. What's next? Get some sleep back. Then find the next trench worth fighting in. I'll always be meeting exceptional people - that was never because of a recruiting title. I just love finding smart people and helping however I can. Many more side quests to come!!!

Excited to lead the Stanford effort on EgoVerse and share what we’ve been building 🚀 EgoVerse is a large-scale egocentric human video dataset spanning diverse scenes and tasks, enriched with text and dense hand-pose annotations, and supported by an ecosystem designed for continual growth. At Stanford, we’ve also been studying human–robot co-training behaviors across several manipulation tasks. A key takeaway: alignment matters. Strategy consistency is crucial — when human and robot data follow similar strategies, transfer improves; behavioral misalignment degrades performance. In-domain data is useful — even a small amount of target-domain human data, combined with diverse EgoVerse data, improves visual alignment between the human and robot domain and improves robot policy performance.

Introducing EgoVerse: an ecosystem for robot learning from egocentric human data. Built and tested by 4 research labs + 3 industry partners, EgoVerse enables both science and scaling 1300+ hrs, 240 scenes, 2000+ tasks, and growing Dataset design, findings, and ecosystem 🧵

Today was my last day at Delphi. Dropping out of school to join was one of the best calls I’ve made. Incredibly grateful for the trust and the people. I’m becoming obsessed with young talent and people skills - and how misunderstood they are in tech and VC. Sharing what’s next soon.

@JiminyLick_It i agree. to remedy this (from personal experience) i’ve found that going to a local university and interacting with PhD students/professors in the domain of knowledge is very helpful :) they’re also more willing to help in-person

@Aryan2811DB The biggest value to a PhD is being around experts all day every day and learning the things that aren’t already in textbooks/available to learn. It’s impossible to replicate “independently”

many people viewing this as a terrible thing, but events like this only accentuate the need for independent learning and research. i promise you can learn things at faster rates than other people will lead you to believe; x<9-15 months to reach the fractal edge of your field

🚨Breaking: @Harvard just announced massive cuts to dozens of its PhD programs, citing “financial pressure.” - Science PhD admissions reduced by more than 75% - Arts & Humanities reduced by about 60% - Social Sciences by 50–70% - History by 60% - Biology by 75% - The German department will lose all PhD seats - Sociology from six PhD students to zero
