I was receiving continuous calls from a student at Gargi College who said she was verbally abused and threatened by a male professor. On the day of elections, she was allegedly thrown out of the counting room, raising serious questions about transparency. DUSU & ABVP went there to ensure fairness & safety, where the administration had failed. Instead of addressing this, a false narrative was built by the teachers of Gargi College, shielding the accused and diverting attention. But the real question remains: what about the girl who was harassed & threatened? Why is her voice missing from the conversation? When the victim disappears and optics take over, we need to ask, what exactly are we celebrating? प्रेस विज्ञप्ति - abvp.org/Press/Supreme_… उच्चतम न्यायालय का यूजीसी (उच्च शिक्षा संस्थानों में समता के संवर्धन हेतु) विनियम, 2026 पर स्थगन का आदेश स्वागत योग्य, सभी वर्गों से सौहार्द बनाए रखने की अपील: अभाविप अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद, माननीय उच्चतम न्यायालय द्वारा विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (उच्च शिक्षा संस्थानो में समता संवर्धन हेतु) विनियम, 2026 पर स्थगन आदेश का स्वागत करती है। यह आदेश वर्तमान में देशभर में यूजीसी समता नियमों में अस्पष्टता को लेकर चल रही भ्रांति को रोकते हुए संवैधानिक समता और समानता के अंतर्निहित मूल्यों के पक्ष में महत्वपूर्ण है और यह आदेश अभाविप द्वारा उक्त विषय पर जारी वक्तव्य में यूजीसी नियमों पर स्पष्टीकरण की मांगों के भी अनुरूप है। इस विषय संबंधी वर्ष 2012 के विनियम पूर्ववत जारी रहेंगे। अभाविप का मानना है कि यूजीसी और सभी शैक्षणिक संस्थानों को लोकतंत्र की उस अंतर्निहित भावना को अक्षुण्ण रखना चाहिए, जहाँ प्रत्येक नागरिक के पास समान अधिकार हों और भारत भेदभाव मुक्त तथा समता युक्त बने। यह बात अभाविप ने अपने पूर्व वक्तव्य में भी स्पष्ट करते हुए जारी किये गए विनियम पर स्पष्टता और संतुलन बनाए रखने की मांग की थी। माननीय उच्चतम न्यायालय की खंडपीठ द्वारा इस निर्णय की काफी आवश्यकता थी क्योंकि वर्तमान परिदृश्य में इस विनियम को लेकर काफी भ्रांति भी फैली थी, जिससे विभिन्न सामाजिक वर्गों के मध्य वैमनस्य पैदा होने की आशंका थी। अभाविप का यह स्पष्ट मत है कि शैक्षिक परिसर में सदैव ही सकारात्मक, भेदभावमुक्त एवं समतायुक्त परिवेश रहे और लोकतांत्रिक मूल्यों को बढ़ावा मिले। अखिल भारतीय विद्यार्थी परिषद के राष्ट्रीय महामंत्री डॉ वीरेंद्र सिंह सोलंकी ने कहा कि, "माननीय उच्चतम न्यायालय का यूजीसी रेगुलेशन पर स्थगन का आदेश स्वागतयोग्य है। अभाविप सदैव से शैक्षणिक परिसरों में समता, सौहार्द एवं समान अवसरों की पक्षधर रही है। यूजीसी द्वारा जारी किए गए विनियमों में स्पष्टता एवं संतुलन का अभाव छात्रों के बीच भ्रम और असंतोष को जन्म दे सकता है। न्यायालय का यह हस्तक्षेप समयोचित है और इससे संवाद व विमर्श के लिए एक सकारात्मक वातावरण बनेगा। अभाविप सभी वर्गों, छात्रों एवं शिक्षण संस्थानों से अपील करती है कि वे शांति, संयम और सौहार्द बनाए रखें तथा राष्ट्रहित में रचनात्मक संवाद के माध्यम से समाधान की दिशा में आगे बढ़ें।"

Stood firmly with the female students of a Delhi University PG who were subjected to a deeply disturbing security lapse. Several unidentified men unlawfully entered the premises, stole a mobile phone, spat pan near the common area, and repeatedly banged on doors, creating fear and trauma among the residents. Despite multiple complaints, the PG owner remained completely unresponsive, and shockingly, no immediate action was taken even with a Delhi Police Pink Booth located nearby. Student safety cannot be treated with such negligence. I accompanied the students to the police station, where a formal complaint was registered. Ensuring safety, dignity, and accountability for our students is non-negotiable and I will continue to stand with them until justice and concrete action are ensured.

I strongly condemn the recent incident at JNU. Campuses cannot be allowed to become safe havens for anti-national conspiracies, Dissent must remain within the constitutional framework. I stand firmly with the Constitution of Bharat and the authority of the judiciary. Universities exist for education and nation-building, not for glorifying chaos. Freedom of expression does not grant the right to incite unrest or undermine the sovereignty of our nation. Student politics must uphold responsibility and discipline; Campuses cannot be surrendered to anarchy.

As DUSU President, I condemn the barbaric burning of a Hindu in Bangladesh. This is not an "isolated incident", it is targeted religious violence. Student leadership cannot stay silent when humanity is attacked. #SaveBangladeshiHindus
