This weekend, the #Athletics will host the #SFGiants at a minor league ballpark, where 10,000 fans will watch them play.
Here's my photo from happier times, when Bay Area fans would pack the Coliseum for the Bay Bridge Series / Battle of the Bay.

@BenKolina @SMFmarcus Same, verbatim. My dad and I went together too. 2012 was the last season my dad saw. Passed away in March 2013. It’s almost perfect in a way. I wouldn’t have wanted him to see what ended up happening to his Oakland A’s. 💔

@SMFmarcus Game 162, 2012. That’s my favorite Oakland A’s game I ever attended, and that’s saying something, because I was at the 20th win in ‘02, and Manaea’s no-hitter, and a handful of other memorable games.
