This browser extension I built will help you stop wasting time switching tabs just to understand difficult terms you come across when reading papers online. The extension explains anything you highlight instantly. I have been using it for a while now. Here is how to use it: → First highlight the text you want it to explain → Press the shortcut keys → A pop up appears with the meaning + context It also has these features: • Explain like I am 12 • Provide deep explanation Personally, I read a lot of research papers and got tired of breaking focus every time to lookup the meaning of a term, so I decided to build this to solve that issue. It’s open source + runs locally with your own API key. GitHub repo + install steps: Source: github.com/Osei-OwusuENG/… Download: github.com/Osei-OwusuENG/…

@cleo_el18 @metrotvgh Some people in this country are just stupid just like you. We deserve our incompetent leaders with this kind of stupidity.

In the group stages? No one takes those seriously. When it matters, you always lose. Arsenal beat PSG in the group stages too, but lost as soon as they faced them in a match that actually mattered. Let's be real. Six Premier League teams qualified from the group stages, but they were all battered in the knockout rounds, conceding at least 5 goals.

@AsIAm_x @piersmorgan Are you for real? I don't think you have seen all the matches of this communication. Arsenal have beaten Bayern, Athletico this term.

Not proper football. Way too aggressive. Leakier than sieves. Arteta’s Attritional Arsenal will grind down either of them.

I’ve seen enough, an in-form Arsenal is capable of beating both PSG and Bayern in the final. Both teams have better attack than Arsenal, but Arsenal’s defensive strength will neutralize their threat leaving room for Eze, Saka, Gyokeres and Martinelli to hurt them.

@Phezthorz @Ekpeikpaukot @piersmorgan And did you win the UCL? Because you beat someone last season doesn't mean you would this season also. Besides Man City has been owning you the whole season, so address that first. 😂😂

@paniniboy7 Yeah. And he is surely never winning a trophy. Winning trophies comes with risking to concede goals.

Because of these issues, redundancy is built into systems that serve as critical infrastructure. We expect the leaders we trust with power to know better when it comes to engineering systems, but they have been a disappointment since the republic’s inception. Dumsor would never be this persistent if these factors were taken into consideration. The sad thing is that even when they set out to fix this, they still lack the wisdom to incorporate redundancies. It is hopeless; you can't expect to run reliable AI training under these conditions.

The ECG boss says the maintenance will take between 3 months and 1 year to be completed in some parts of the country. The timeline is divided into categories: Bucket 1: 6 months Bucket 2: 6 to 12 months Bucket 3: 12 to 18 months Bucket 4: 24 months

@NotebookLM I have been this tool like since it came out. It is a life saver especially the video and audio overviews. But it will be good it you could customize which part of you want the video overview to focus on all the time. Or is it already a feature I don't know about?

If wisdom is the ability to connect dots and see patterns, you can’t do that if the "dots" aren't actually inside your head. If the knowledge stays on a server or in a book, it’s not part of your immediate context of thought, so it can’t influence your intuition or your judgment in real-time. Essentially, we’ve traded depth for breadth. We can access any fact in three seconds, but because we don't "own" that fact internally, it doesn't ferment into wisdom. It’s like the difference between owning a library and actually having read and digested the books, one makes you look smart, the other actually changes how you think. This leads to a scary thought: if we lose the ability to hold a "long train of thought" as mentioned earlier, we lose the ability to handle complexity. Everything becomes a soundbite or a headline because our mental RAM can't handle the full "Republic-level" argument.

This man is truly great. I can’t say enough about how much I’ve learned from him. He inspired me to start reading the classics, such as The Republic, Nicomachean Ethics, works by Dostoevsky, and writings of Saint Thomas Aquinas, among others. He is one of the best role models one could ask for, a truly great man.
