The older you get, the less appetite you have for fancy cooking during Ramadan. Honestly, it’s such a waste for men or women to spend all day in the kitchen just to have lavish meal during iftar. There much better ways to spend your time when you’re fasting.

Underrated life advice: Schedule your religion first. The prayer. The Qur'ān. The dhikr. The study circle. The hour before and after Fajr. Put worship on the calendar before work fills it. Most people dunya first, then give Allah the leftovers. There is never anything left.
