If your Polo isn't turbocharged and is designed for 93,then 95 adds no real benefit. But it's your car,your rules. Want to see a real difference?Use cheap engine oil instead,then come tell us how it went.

How did you guys decide whether to put 95 instead of 93 for petrol?

@Mdumaya @Sphinx_Mnguni @khal_haji @Thula_NX I’ve done 280k on polo using only 95, no problems, engine still performs like day1, used it long term both coastal & inland..my take is, older cars early 2ks do well on 93, newer 95

@Sphinx_Mnguni @khal_haji @Thula_NX True,but many cars in the informal sector have had their engines rebuilt 2–4 times.Repeated head skimming can raise compression above ori spec, making them prone to pinging on 93, especially at the coast. That's why many drivers prefer 95,it reduces knock and seems to last longer
