Every once in a while, the time comes for a product to scrap its entire UI and launch a new design from scratch. For @goClueso , that time is now. Over the course of the last two weeks, we redesigned our AI-powered video editor from the ground up based on usage analytics and feedback from over 160 companies that are Clueso customers. There were four main objectives with our new #uiux revamp: 1️⃣ Make the most common flows simpler to understand so that a new user can create their first video themselves. 2️⃣ Make the most common options more accessible. This could be done by making them larger or placing them in positions users are more likely to focus on. 3️⃣ Clearly explain each button. A user should understand what a button will do before they even click it. 4️⃣ Reduce space wastage across the UI so that users have more real estate to preview their video and focus on the customizations they’re working on. 5️⃣ Redesign the UI to make it more modern and minimalistic. In future posts, I’ll highlight more on the exact design problems we encountered and how we solved them. Also: now BOTH of @mercury’s partner banks, Choice and Evolve, have received enforcement actions.
