Over here in San Diego California, Gas(fuel) went up from $4 to almost $5 or 6 dollars, that’s like $1 or 2 dollar increment, price difference of just $1 or $2.. still we can afford to buy it even though we don’t like it and we know it’s bad, we know it’s not supposed to be like that.. We can complain and or do the needful, then the government will work on it, or at worst we can wait a little and it will get back to the normal price. Also even when we buy at the increased price we don’t have to stay on a long queue and stress ourselves to buy Gas(fuel).. There’s no scarcity. But in Nigeria, Omo!!! It’s a different ball game entirely! The fuel goes up double or triple the normal price. To even buy it you have to struggle, fight, stay on a very long queue, insult, spit, smell, the worst situation you can ever imagine just to get fuel (a normal basic responsibility).. omo!! Crazy!! Nigeria is cursed! A proper zoo! Anima kingdom! Give them bag of rice, they’ll support you with the last drop of their blood! Backwards mentality! No matter what you do, it will never change, that’s the normal everyday life of an average Nigerian citizen! They can’t even boast of the easiest basics (ELECTRICITY).. God forbid!! Tufiakwa!
