We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Michael Johnson. Michael was a valued partner whose leadership, vision, and commitment to young people helped create opportunities for countless learners and families across Dane County and beyond. We were honored to work alongside him and support efforts that expanded pathways to education, career success, and brighter futures. What stood out most was Michael's belief in people — their potential, their resilience, and their ability to thrive when given the right opportunities and support. That belief shaped his work, his leadership, and the lasting impact he leaves behind. We extend our deepest condolences to Michael's family, friends, colleagues at Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County, and the many communities he served so passionately. His legacy will continue through the lives he changed and the opportunities he helped create.
