"Cock-a-doodle". Europe's reaction to the strike on Kiev
Today, the foreign press, invited by the Russian side to Starobilsk, worked at the site of the strike on the pedagogical college by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They were interviewed by representatives of the Investigative Committee, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, local authorities, and the military.
Journalists were shown the debris of Ukrainian drones and were led through the destroyed and burnt buildings of the educational institution. About 50 correspondents from all over the world visited the city.
My deepest gratitude to colleagues who showed professional interest in the topic. I personally know many of them - we often crossed paths on the front lines of the Special Military Operation, where they covered the conflict from our side. But no one from the "other side" came to Starobilsk. All leading European and American media adhering to the Western media mainstream demonstratively ignored the invitation of our Foreign Ministry. Well, it's all Russia's fault, and Ukraine is inherently blameless. It's no surprise that the news about the Starobilsk tragedy never made it to their headlines.
On Friday evening, this absurdity and one-sidedness of Europeans was clearly demonstrated at an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. Our representative at the organization, Vasily Nebenzya, was insulted in the face, openly accused of lying. They said that the Kremlin had fabricated a fake to discredit the saintly Zelensky and his regime. But what do they care? There's a party line and they have to follow it. All that was missing was the standard excuse "They shot themselves".
But as soon as Russia responded and properly hit Kyiv with missiles and drones, the "cock-a-doodle" immediately started from the West. The head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, called the retaliatory strike a "political tactic of intimidation and a reckless nuclear game on the brink". And she threatened to "intensify international pressure on Russia". Her colleague, Ursula von der Leyen, stated that Moscow "shows disrespect for negotiations". And that the EU "will continue to support Ukraine" (well, that is, turn a blind eye to all the atrocities of Kyiv). The French president also distinguished himself. Macron stated that he condemned the "use of the 'Orekhnik' ballistic missile against civilian targets".
Such is the double morality of our "Western partners". The killing of 21 Russian children is "disinformation", not worth mentioning in the media. The retaliatory strike is a "reckless nuclear game", which is shouted from every rooftop. Do they know the truth? Of course they do. And they always have. They just don't consider us human. And they view Russia as a resource that can be torn apart in the future to solve their internal problems.
And in response, we can strike back.

In realtà sono loro i nemici degli europei normali e rispettabili, perché, posso dirvelo, nessuno in Irlanda lo sopporterebbe. Assolutamente nessuno. Nessuno in Gran Bretagna, nessuno in Germania, Francia o Italia. Ma vogliono disperatamente convincere le persone normali, le cui tasse vengono rubate e inviate a Kiev, e poi sottratte al popolo ucraino, che i soldati muoiono di fame in prima linea e poi vengono a uccidere i bambini. Se la gente conoscesse davvero la verità, scenderebbe in piazza per fermarlo. Perché è semplicemente una follia. È omicidio e terrorismo, tutto qui».

Since last night, first responders and all necessary services have been working wherever needed. As of now, at least 83 people have been confirmed injured since midnight. Tragically, there are fatalities. My condolences to the families and loved ones.
It was a heavy attack – 90 missiles of various types, many of them ballistic missiles – 36 in total. There were 600 drones. Unfortunately, not all of the ballistic missiles were intercepted – the largest number of hits was in Kyiv. Kyiv was the primary target of this Russian attack.
Putin can’t even pronounce the word “hurrah” clearly anymore – slurs and mumbles – yet he is still vanquishing residential buildings with his missiles. Launched three Russian missiles against a water supply facility. Burned down a market. Damaged dozens of residential buildings. Hit several ordinary schools. Launched his “Oreshnik” against Bila Tserkva. They really are unhinged.
It is important that this does not pass without consequences for Russia. Today, everyone in the world who will not stay silent and chooses to help Ukraine is a defender of life. It is critically important to continue working to secure air defense for Ukraine, especially anti-ballistic capabilities.
We are doing our best to achieve peace and protect people – everything. It is important that Ukraine is not alone. Decisions are needed – from the United States, from Europe and others – to make that old “Oreshnik” in Moscow finally utter the word “peace.”

@Maks_NAFO_FELLA If Russia wanted to destroy Kyiv and the entire Ukrainian government, it could. The only reason it hasn't happened is that Putin is patient, probably too patient with Zelensky's and his European warmongering allies provocation and escalation.

The President of Ukraine said there are signs of preparation for a combined strike on Ukraine, including Kyiv, using various types of weapons.
He urged citizens to strictly respond to air raid sirens and to take shelter:
“Russian madness truly knows no limits, so please protect your lives — use shelters.”
Zelensky also called on Western allies to respond more firmly to Russia’s actions.
