Heartbroken beyond words 💔 Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience.😢 This home was where we built so many precious memories. It’s where Phoenix took his first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.🥹
While the loss is overwhelming, I’m holding onto gratitude that my family is safe. My heart and prayers are going out to every family affected by these fires. To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories, and their beloved pets. My heartaches for those still in harm’s way or mourning greater losses. The devastation is unimaginable. To know so many are waking up today without the place they called home is truly heartbreaking.💔
My 11:11 Media Impact Team is already reaching out to nonprofit organizations today to figure out how we can best support the communities impacted by these fires. We’re committed to offering help as soon as possible and making a meaningful difference for those who need it most.
To the brave firefighters and first responders risking their lives to protect us—you are true heroes. I am so grateful for your courage, dedication, and the incredible sacrifices you’re making to save lives and fight this unimaginable battle. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.🙏
Please, everyone, stay safe and follow evacuation orders. Let’s protect one another and hold onto hope that these fires will soon be contained.🙏 Sending so much love and strength to all of you. We’re in this together, LA.✨Hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight. You never know when everything could change.🥺
@NoahGRubin I couldn't even drive past Penn's campus the last year without getting extremely upset and feeling scared. I have no idea how you've been able to continue going to school there and I know it's probably your dream school. It's extremely sad and frightening what's going on there
THREAD: Penn was my dream school. Now it feels unrecognizable. Rising antisemitism, vandalism, and threats have gone unchecked. I shared my story with congress and the state senate months ago — nothing has changed.
Here’s what it’s like to be a Jewish student at UPenn 🧵👇

OK seems police are now pulling folks over in Philly for being on your phone, and at red lights. Where we all seem to catch up on texts etc; First-time offenders caught using a cellphone while driving face a maximum of an $83 fine, second-time offenders a maximum of $140 fine and third-time offenders a maximum of $160 fine.
The Philadelphia Inquirer subscriber experience kinda sucks. You pay a bunch of money for a sub to one paper (that you can’t cancel online, at least until the FTC forces them), constantly have to log back in, ads top & bottom on mobile and like every 3 paragraphs, buggy website
It is difficult for me to go to a gym. I have a 5-year-old and he doesn’t go to a Public school or daycare. I have a 14-year-old as well.
I am not overweight, but I would love to get toned and fit. I used to be a gym rat. I was there every day, 3-4 hours a day. I don’t want to do that again, but as a mom that deals with anxiety and depression at times, I KNOW that exercise would help me out a lot.
I would love suggestions. Do you have a favorite YouTuber? A great routine? My biggest problem is motivation and the inability to go to a gym every day.
There is so much fucking blatant antisemitism everywhere.
Like it’s absolutely everywhere.
It is hard to even process, I can’t imagine what the lived experience of a Jewish American is every day.
I promise to raise my daughters loving our Jewish brothers and sisters. 💔
Jews don't want a hug. We want you to acknowledge that the past year of hell is ongoing, that the terrorists who murdered thousands of our most peaceful people are also capable of torturing the hostages they captured for a year and shooting them at point-blank range.
@PhilaParking I’m trying to renew my permit online and it keeps telling me my car is at the maximum number of permits for this vehicle. How is that possible?
