Can we really say things are improving when it's just a question of ignoring the problem?

We’re working with stakeholders to encourage parking compliance across the road network. In recent weeks we’ve increased parking enforcement in the Holylands, Stranmillis & around the Ulster University Belfast campus due to significant levels of poor parking behaviour. Analysis of this increased enforcement shows parking compliance is improving in these areas. Our message is clear: 'Think before you park'. Please park responsibly and legally, considering the impact of your actions on other road, footway, and cycle lane users.

Pic 1 is what we started with in our Belfast alley- endless landlord dumping. But as a group of neighbours we had a different vision for this space. Months of voluntary cleaning & a small grant mean we are on our way to a better shared space: introducing Sandhurst Entry
