Am I the only one who still views minimum wage as gas money for your car and movie tickets for you and your date while you gain work experience in high school or at the bookstore in college?
When did it become a career wage?

$7.25 an hour is about $14,000 a year. No one can survive on that. People can barely survive on double that. We raised the minimum wage in Illinois. It's long overdue everywhere else.

This EU battery rule sounds good on paper but will probably just make phones thicker and more expensive while companies find new ways to lock down repairs.
Manufacturers already hate easy fixes because it cuts their upgrade sales.
What do you think will happen to water resistance ratings once everyone starts swapping batteries themselves?

Starting in 2027, smartphones sold in the European Union will be required to have user-replaceable batteries designed for greater durability and more charging cycles.
Manufacturers must also provide spare parts and repair manuals for at least 10 years after a model is released.
This is real pressure against planned obsolescence. It should mean phones that actually last longer, cheaper fixes, and a lot less electronic waste piling up. About time.

Aside from them not dropping any content worth anything for months, i hopped on last night for the first time in 2.5 months and pvp’d for about 2 hours.
Last raid of the night i brought an anvil bobcat in, killed about 12 people and every one of them had free kits. Do you know how fast that made me get off and not wanna play for another few months? Why even bring a kit?
The fact it’s even possible for me to risk that loadout and I’m being put in the same game with a bunch of people who have nothing to lose, just for me to possibly die by arc or some stupid shit?? Just such a stupid system lmao
