Team members from Cyber and @surfai recently published an academic paper with @Princeton researcher Zerui Cheng titled “When Hallucination Costs Millions.” The paper evaluates 17 leading AI models in adversarial crypto markets and uncovers critical weaknesses: • Agents lack skeptical reasoning, making them easy to mislead and prone to confident hallucinations • Models overuse web search and ignore specialized blockchain tools • Without tools, accuracy is near random.
