I met you as a homesick little kid and you soon became a friend, coach, and colleague. I wish I said more thank you’s to you and told you the levity you created was a large portion of why I loved coaching. Your legacy will live on forever in everyone you’ve impacted. Rest easy.

We are heartbroken to pass along the news that beloved coach, mentor, and friend Christian ‘Lillen’ Yngve has passed away. Christian spent many years in the DMV impacting the lives of hundreds of local players and coaches and will be dearly missed. Rest in peace big guy. ❤️

Tests yesterday confirmed that Chris will not wake up. In life, Chris offered his body to a clinical trial to help others. In death he will do the same. He remains on life support while organ donation is arranged. We are so proud of him.
