They would 100% pull marathon if the player count got too low. They’d need to pay salaries and infrastructure. They’re not an indie studio, they’ve got to return money to investors

@Pirat_Nation It's easy to see where the largest difference comes from if you look at the steam review breakdown, and when Slay the Spire hits it peak.
Slay the Spire has a large Asian audience, and Marathon has none.

@Pirat_Nation I’m really enjoying Slay the spire 2. I wish marathon had some sort of single player but… eh…
If I want to play an extraction shooter I’ll play Arc Raiders
