@KeruboSk Honestly, two reasons! 1) I’d rather get up a bit later. 2) When it’s really cold like it can get here, I feel chilled if my hair is wet when I go outside.

@DrKyle @Microsoft Did it do that blue screen thing too when it was looping? I had it do that to me after an update before online school last year. I was just thankful I had a backup device I could use on Zoom that morning for about half an hour before it finally just stopped looping.

Hey @Microsoft you might want to check out why my Microsoft SLS which was presenting in PowerPoint to my university class spontaneously reset without warning and got stuck in a reboot loop for 8 minutes trying to do the latest unapproved update. It's a bad look.

PROVINCES are responsible for Healthcare in Canada. Regrettably several provinces choose to underfund public healthcare and pour money into private clinics thereby depriving hospitals of nurses and doctors.

@Martyupnorth_2 MRIs are not short scans and not everyone can tolerate them without help of meds. I had an MRI scan a few years ago! It was short (only about 20 mins) and I managed to do it without the help of sedatives or anti anxiety meds. Many are much longer than that!

Serious question. How much skill does it take to operate an MRI machine? Why are people waiting months?

@JeremyOlsen41 It almost always looks better with a camera because the camera can take longer exposures times than our eyes. If you're farther north, you can see it with the naked eye. Last night was my first time seeing reds with my own eyes.

Alright, these Northern light photos I’m seeing people post. Are you supposed to be able to see them with the naked eye? Or is it a camera filter so that they can “see” the lights?
Using a camera filter to “see” them is not as impressive nor worth it to me to drive to see them.

We all know this! It’s free at the point of service meaning you show your health card, see the doctor or NP and get to walk out after. I’m in pharmacy. You couldn’t pay me to deal with what we do with insurance for all of it. 🤷🏻♀️

The CFL is making a bold move to evolve the game with a set of changes centred upon entertainment and innovation. Commissioner Stewart Johnston announced that changes will be instituted over the next two seasons through a phased approach. The most significant modifications will come in 2027 with goalposts being moved to the back of the end zone and the field being re-sized. In anticipation of these structural changes, beginning in 2026, the rouge will be modified and adjustments will be introduced to ensure more consistent game flow.

If Air Canada flight attendants are required to show up at a fixed time in advance of each flight their pay should commence at that time not when the flight is fully boarded and the aircraft door is closed

I am devastated to share that the love of my life, Gizmo, has passed away at the age of 17. We shared so many memories and storm chasing adventures together especially over the last 15 years. Gizmo chased over 200 tornadoes, category 5 hurricanes, and loved me unconditionally through some very hard times across hundreds of miles. We chased through the pandemic on fast-food living out of the Subaru. She beat cancer, ticks, flash floods, and was inside of a tornado with a broken leg / peg leg cast. She visited 48 states, dozens of National Parks, three Canadian provinces and was loved by many storm chasers. This will be a very difficult time

I find it so interesting that the federal government can do this without a state requesting the help and if they don't request the help, there's not much that can be done at the Federal level.
