The clash took place in the Santosh nagar market area of Dindoshi/Malad East. A religious program (Devi Yatra/Jagran) was being organised by members of the South Indian community.
According to reports, a group of local peaceful youths objected to the playing of bhajans/music during the event. This led to a heated argument that escalated into a violent clash between the two groups.
@MumbaiPolice acted quickly and arrested five individuals for rioting and disturbing the peace. @mybmc brought in bulldozers and demolished the illegal structures of several accused involved in the clash. The message in Mumbai is loud and clear: You cannot veto a religious tradition by claiming ownership of a public road. 🔥

For my maids and driver’s kids they studied in govt schools with tuition from me to ensure they do well. Cost was minimal for them but substantial amt of time twice/week in taking up math/science

Milk in water bodies is a pollutant worse than sewage. It spawns bacteria that absorbs oxygen from the water and suffocates marine life. What they are doing to Narmada here would be considered criminal if done by a corporation. Enough with this ignorance.
