@AshutoshDes Mobile gaming figured this out a decade ago and most SaaS builders still ignore it. Graduated friction works because each step feels like the user's choice, not your paywall.

Don't go from free to paid in one go design graduated friction - Grab users Attention and prove the product, no friction - Have them put effort, watch ads etc - Then ask for money Each stage normalizes the next one

@Zenysi_ I used to write everything on paper, make notes, highlight and then forget everything What helped was using the paper to organise my thoughts, diagrams which helped me think better

users value what they already have more than anything you're offering them. called the endowment effect. this is why every redesign is harder than it looks. you're not improving the product. you're taking away the one they already own emotionally.

chat is the wrong default ui for ai. it gives you a text box and asks you to figure out what to type. every other software category figured this out 30 years ago. you dont open photoshop and type 'apply gaussian blur radius 4.' you click. you test out different things with a much faster and much inexpensive feedback and iterative loop ai products are still in the command-line phase. the ones that figure out the ui after chat will eat the ones that didnt.
