To justify the delay by Congress in announcing the name of V.D. Satheesan as Kerala CM, Rajdeep started peddling the claim that BJP took 13 days to decide on Yogi Adityanath’s appointment as UP CM. The Congress took 11 days to decide on VD Satheesan as Keralam CM ; the BJP took 13 days to decide on Yogi Adityanathas UP CM (who was not even an MLA at the time). They weren’t , but that’s when I understood why the book has such a cult fanbase. It’s genuinely so gripping that I finished the first part in just 3 days, and I’m not even someone who reads often.

My society in Noida has entered a unique post-Bengal-election crisis. 😭 A large chunk of maids left for Bengal to cast their vote. (IYKYK why) The remaining local UP, Bihar & CG maids saw a once-in-a-lifetime market opportunity, formed an unofficial cartel, and collectively hiked rates with a simple message: “Pay more or we leave too.” Entire society WhatsApp groups went into meltdown mode. People discussing maid inflation like RBI policy meetings. Now residents are demanding the AOA fix maid service rates across the society. 🤡 Meanwhile, returning Bengali maids are perfectly happy because the market rate has already gone up for everyone. Pure comedy hidden inside domestic tragedy. 🤣
