Have little idea about Bengal elections but if voters at large are fine with mass deletions through SIR, then one day lot of us will be standing in line struggling to prove our citizenship. My fervent hope is Bengal voters give a befitting reply to exercise of voters deletion.

Back of the envelope calculation- approx. 50 lakh voters who did not vote in 2021 elections,have voted this time in Tamil Nadu. Approx. 8 million voters who did not vote in Lok Sabha 2024, have voted in TN elections. It’s a different electorate. How will result be same ?
