Allbirds just went from making shoes to building AI compute infrastructure… and the stock exploded +300% overnight.
Sold the brand/assets for $39M, raising $50M to become NewBird AI.
From sneakers to GPU leases in one move 😂👟→🤖

Eventually we figure out that it’s all about love and relationships.
The only question is when.
Fame, fortune, achievement means little without love.
“If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.” (1 Corinthians 13:2)

I sold superconfident•com for $50k to an ai LLM startup.
They have it forwarded to superconfident.ai

@XTopDomains @domainpro @XTopDomains Well said. .COM remains dominant until it doesn’t. In this case, the brand value of owning “Longevity” outweighs the benefit of appending a secondary word, even with a .COM TLD.
English

Thanks, Pro.
The buyer is most likely building the brand 'Longevity', not 'Longevity App', so it's logical they wouldn't be very interested in LongevityApp.com. .APP represents a namespace/brand space, not necessarily simply the word "app".
Even if the brand is Longevity App, Longevity.app is IMO worth several times more. The premium feel is what makes the difference.
But, in that case, the buyer would have secured both domains, given the .COM's price.
English

Nice sale - Congrats to @XTopDomains.
I'd struggle to buy and price this name above LongevityApp.com which is listed at $13k but I do like seeing these sales as it demonstrates a change in buyer behavior.
My assumption is that the buyer didn't even check LongevityApp.com. Had they checked I think it would have changed the outcome.

SOLD Longevity.app for $74,988 USD @afternic Congrats to the buyer! In other .APP news, Google just registered AI.app. And if you missed it, OpenAI acquired Prism.app for $120,000. Great times for .APP domains.

AI agents will become the next SaaS layer.
Platforms that build and deploy agents will dominate.
A strong brand for that category:
Agentefy.com
EFY = Engineered For You
Available for sale

@ishmilly Yeah, that makes sense. I’m with you that onchain rails + the right tokenomics can surface value that would’ve stayed dead inventory for years. I think as investors we just want to keep the liquidity expectations realistic vs fungible tokens. Great discussion bro.
English

@AskiaJones Most names are illiquid but Tokenization unlocks some liquidity for names with value that will otherwise sit 100% illiquid until they are sold which can take decades. It can only be done at scale, onchain. The tokenomics and the name still matter.
English

@NobleNegroe One might think so. Personally, I believe that individuals with a more analytical mindset tend to be immediately turned off by celebrity endorsements and are therefore less susceptible to being gaslit.

Parted ways with one of my favorite domains last week.
