STATEMENT
Today is an extremely dark day for our nation, particularly the Australian Jewish community, which appears to be the target of this terrorist attack.
The Prime Minister never heeded the warning signs, including the weekly anti-semitic protests across our nation, hate speech from certain religious clerics, our obnoxious universities and probable terrorist alert.
I stand with Australia’s Jewish community, who tonight deserve our absolute solace. You have the same right to live in peace and harmony as all Australians.
Authorities must be honest when revealing the identities and backgrounds of these murderers.

Russia’s massive attack on Kyiv on November 14 took the life of Nataliia Khodemchuk.
She was the wife of Valerii Khodemchuk, a circulating-pump operator at Reactor 4 of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant, who died on April 26, 1986. He was the only plant worker whose body was never recovered from the rubble.
Nearly four decades later, Nataliia was killed in a new tragedy caused once again by the Kremlin. Ukrainians who survived Chornobyl, who helped rebuild the country after that disaster, are once again facing danger—the terror of an aggressor state.
Ukraine needs support that saves lives: more air defense systems, more protective capabilities, and greater resolve from our partners. Only this can stop further Russian terror and give Ukrainian families the basic right to safety in their own homes.

🤡 Orban: “Hungary Doesn’t Want to Be in NATO or the EU if Ukraine Joins”
At the EU summit in Copenhagen, Viktor Orban openly declared that Hungary does not want to belong to any alliance — not NATO, not the EU — if Ukraine becomes a member. In plain words: Hungary refuses to share a table with Ukrainians, even inside the very structures that guarantee its own security and prosperity.
So maybe the solution is simple: if Orban doesn’t want to be in the EU or NATO with Ukraine, then perhaps Europe should ask whether it wants to be in an alliance with him. His statements have crossed from mere obstructionism into full-blown Ukrainophobia — rhetoric that now mirrors Moscow’s, not Brussels’.
And history is speaking here. Hungary once aligned itself with Hitler’s Reich, betraying its neighbors and its own future. Today Orban seems intent on repeating that path, standing with Putin instead of Europe, isolating his country while pretending it is “neutral.”
Ukraine, meanwhile, is bleeding and fighting for the very values NATO and the EU were founded to protect. For Orban to suggest that Hungarians “don’t want” to stand alongside Ukrainians is not only cowardice — it’s treason to the idea of a united Europe.
The real question now is no longer whether Ukraine belongs in NATO and the EU. It does. The question is whether Hungary under Orban still belongs there.
