@spudsygangle I think they might "escape" the circus (it was disappearing at the end of 8)... but they won't escape the digital realm. They exist in the void, but since they are human, maybe they can create worlds or gain access to previous worlds & characters that they remember, like Gummigoo

@Nakatsu1178 @Aleczandxr Yeah I think they're fun bosses, but just would've been better to be placed a bit later in the game. A mini-boss like the "Centipede Giraffe" (but simplified/slower) would've been better early on because it can't be beaten by dodging and forces you to parry.

I am speaking mostly from personal experience, coming from Souls it took me awhile to unlearn the habit of dodging everything, and I found that Ogre and Bull are able to be beaten by dodging pretty reliably

Maybe it’s my fault due to phrasing or something but I really dislike how this post incentivized replies to try to pick at Sekiro’s flaws rather than celebrate what an awesome game it is, but again I’ll partly take the blame for that. As I’ve said rather than stating that the game is literally perfect and has no minute problems, I was moreso speaking of broader elements like combat and/or gameplay, immersion, narrative, atmosphere, audiovisual presentation, setting, etc. I am not saying that it’s literally perfect obviously, I’m saying that it excels in every department that it properly attempts.

You spend most of the game running around, so prepare to constantly have heavy breathing in your ears.

To focus on something that isn't just visuals, notice how much more noise there is in DeSR. The FO's gargling noises, the OST kicking in and ruining any sense of subtlety, the Penetrator's....grunting??? It feels like BP thought that every second of the game had to have noise.
