Prime Minister of #Nepal Balendra Shah relieves Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Dipak Kumar Sah from his post.
He dismissed Dipak Kumar Sah from his post as per the recommendation from the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party.
Minister Sah is accused of misusing the dignity of his position by getting his wife appointed as a member in the regular work of the Health Insurance Board, which has remained inoperative for long.

Assam has lost a legend.
Gilbertson Sangma, one of the finest footballers to grace the field, gave the game moments that outlived the final whistle and a legacy that time cannot touch.
He was not just a player, but a golden chapter in the story of football. An inspiration for generations to come.
The people of the State and Assam Police will always cherish his legacy & memory.

@assampolice @umanand69 One of the best football players of our childhood. He became a household name for us as my Koka (Late Bhola Nath Bora and his brother Late Bhabani Prasad Bora) used to play for the Assam Police Football Team before Late Gilbertson Sangma.
May the Hero rest in eternal peace 🙏🙏

Aapki sirf tapasya mein hi nahi, AI generation aur photoshopping mein bhi kami reh gayi.
I expected a spokesperson of a national party to exercise basic due diligence, rather than circulate poorly fabricated images of imaginary passports and documents.
I will now be letting the law take over. Criminal charges are being initiated. We can continue this in court. @Pawankhera @INCIndia

Now, he has a problem when people in Bharat speak Hindi?
Dalal Street seems good as money falls from trees there but "Dalal" meaning a Broker, Middleman, Agent etc is demeaning?
Sabeer Bhatia@sabeer
Language reveals how people think. When a Foreign Minister uses words like “dalal” and a Finance Minister says “rupaiya theek hai,” it raises a deeper question - do they have the right worldview for a modern nation?

A thought-provoking question raised by Raghav Chadha is sparking a fresh national debate: if fingerprints are required for essentials like ration, urea, and pensions—why not for voting?
Today, biometric authentication has already become a backbone of many welfare schemes, ensuring that benefits reach the right person while reducing leakages and fraud. From ration distribution to pension transfers, this technology has brought greater transparency and accountability into the system.
Supporters of biometric voting argue that it could further strengthen the electoral process—curbing fake voting, eliminating duplication, and increasing overall trust in elections. In their view, leveraging technology is the next step toward a more secure and efficient democracy.
However, concerns remain equally important. Voting is not just a process—it is a fundamental right that depends on privacy and secrecy. Large-scale biometric implementation raises questions about data security, exclusion risks, and whether every citizen can be seamlessly integrated into such a system without barriers.
This debate reflects the evolving nature of democracy—where innovation must walk hand in hand with rights. The real challenge lies in finding the balance: strengthening the system without compromising the very principles it stands on.
