For two types of such specific contributing points: transverse crossings and Saddles on Singularities (SoS), we derive a region of activity and an explicit closed-form associated asymptotic wave field. 4/n

My latest work with A. Shanin and A. Korolkov on applied multidimensional complex analysis has just been published in QJMAM. It is on the locality principle for wave fields described by double Fourier-like integrals doi.org/10.1093/qjmam/… 1/n

Check out our PRSA article on resonance in wave scattering by infinite and semi-infinite arrays: dx.doi.org/10.1098/rspa.2… It includes new uniform approximations and discussions on the validity of Foldy's approximation for double resonance.

Check out our SIAP article on acoustic diffraction by a wedge built of two semi-infinite arrays of point scatterers: doi.org/10.1137/21M143… We design an iterative scheme to accurately estimate the scattering coefficients using the solution to the discrete Wiener-Hopf technique.
