Great News. I see the BAMC for 2023 has been announced at last. It will be in Bristol from 3rd to 5th April. That is where the next edition of the IMA Lighthill Thwiates Prize will be announced. uwe.ac.uk/events/british…

@peterrowlett I am told that if you look at who edited a wikipedia page, a large number of these pages were created by the individual themselves.

I work in UK mathematics. I find some of the organisations, initiatives and individuals I work with have pages on Wikipedia and some do not, with no apparent reason for the difference. Do I know any Wikipedia editors who I could talk to about this?

@AlainGoriely maybe that's a type of alliterative acronym (A^2)... 😉

A revolutionary new idea for teaching: We bring students to a room and we explain math on some sort of erasable board. It will be slow, inconvenient, and students may have to copy the material. But they will learn. I call it the new new normal or N^3 for short.

@ultracrepidam There is lots of asymptotic analysis in our journal. But I wonder in this case if asymptotic is just a mis-spelling of asymptomatic?

Finally, asymptotic analysis is getting the attention it deserves!
