@TomPMarshall @GaiaGhirardi Polygenic indices explains 12-16% of the variation in educational attainment ( nature.com/articles/s4158…). There are a lot of issues with polygenic indices (more than can be explained in one post). Using them requires thoughtful research designs.

@MadsJaeger Take-away: don’t stop sending your kids to soccer/piano lessons/etc. as longs they think it’s fun, just don’t do it to impress their teachers or make them perform better in math… But why would you do that? 😉 #parenting
