@BurstangelIn @Fenrirtheicewo1 Bro,the Spirits once they are on the Physical World,are tied to said rules rather than the Spiritual ones,so beings like Koh would had a Physical body and thus could be killed by machines like Kuvira's mecha. Humans were closer to surpass the Avatar by the time of Korra.

@Fenrirtheicewo1 The average non-bender has no way to fight spirits. Hell, non-waterbendeds can struggle with spirits on average. She basically let loose a whole ecosystem of unpredictable and dangerous creatures into the human world and walked away.

Reminder that because of Korra choices Spirits like Koh are free to walk around the human world as they please, not to mention the dead and punished human ones. God she sucks.

@Fenrirtheicewo1 To be fair,the Spirits were sealed on a time in which humans barely knew Farming and were released on a time in which technology was closer to surpass the Avatar itself in terms of powers. If you gave humans a couple of years,they could develop weapons to kill beings like Koh.

I used to think this was a plot hole as well, but it's not. Firebenders need heat to bend, which means they are weaker in cold environments. This is why they are thrown in coolers during The Boiling Rock whenever they firebend. However, multiple times we see Zuko using his Breath of Fire technique, doing so specifically because Iroh told him it could save his life. While he is still weakened, Zuko remains a bigger threat than most firebenders in the cold. The Breath of Fire is likely a very basic technique, but The Boiling Rock insinuates most firebenders either don't know it or don't think to use it. Azula wasn't trained by Iroh nor do we ever see her in a cold environment. When she tried to capture Iroh and Zuko in Ba Sing Se, she was legitimately caught off guard by Iroh's dragon breath. The only time we see her using the Breath of Fire is after Katara has already chained her up, but that was because she was lashing out in any way she could. We have no reason to believe she knew to use it while frozen. Also, Azula's ice trap seemed way more constricting than Zuko's. It's possible she literally couldn't do anything and even Ozai would've struggled to escape that thing.
